Valentine's Day

                                                            Valentine's Day, Crow style

When Reagan came home from school, much to her surprise it was time to make some special cupcakes for the special day.

And little did our neighbor know that when she brought over the box of cupcakes for us to make that they would be the kids FAVORITE

And let the mixing begin

With a little muscle and a lot of hustle the cupcakes were baked

Oh to eat them then but until dinner they had to wait, and that would mean they would have to cook something great

With the help of Daddy and my little munchkins, dinner was amazing

Amaretto Chicken, Roasted Red Potatoes and a yummy salad made this Valentine's Day one of the best ever!

To me Valentine's Day is spent with those you love and that my friends is exactly what I did!

1 John 4:7
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of god and knows God.

The "tooth fairy"

As with all kids things can change in an instant. As a mother of 3 this happens often. As we are sitting in the car getting a quick bite to eat Reagan decided she wanted to a taco.

Things started out just fine till she told us she was done......

And there you have it, the first tooth lost in the Crow household.

For those that don't know my daughter very well this could have been a traumatic experience, but with a little thought and some prayer God knew just how that little tooth needed to come out.

Let's just say this was a learning experience for mom and dad as well as we had to decide how we would incorporate the "tooth fairy".

As with Santa we don't really push the real factor and so we kind of just let this one lead us to what felt right and if she asked my husband would have said "yes Reagan you are right!"

feel free to share how you incorporate the "tooth fairy" in your family

A Night at the Beach

The kids have always wanted to go to work with Daddy and see what he does. So last Monday that's exactly what we did and ended up at the beach instead.

We went to one of Adam's dealerships so he could meet with a customer, that customer didn't show up so we decided what a great opportunity to go to the beach, seeing as we had driven 2 hours to get there..p.s. Bonita Springs is a great beach!

The sunset was beautiful that night and the kids had a blast

Pierson becomes one with the sand once his little feet hit the beach

And then we had to say goodbye to such a wonderful night.

Living in Florida has become such a great opportunity so we can escape to these beautiful creations God has provided us to enjoy with our kiddos to have fun and realx. So serene

Reflections of 2011

The year of 2011 brought us some new and intersting options that we once never thought about. Adam was offered a job in the state of Florida where he had always wanted to live. Myself having grown up and lived in Tennessee and that being where our kids were born and all I knew, was so keen on the idea. After much thought Adam accepted the postion without knowing when and where we would actually be moving in Florida. On May 23,2011 Adam left my parents where we had been staying for 2 weeks and emarked on his journey to Florida to find us a home in 1 weeks time. The following weekend our dear friends Steve and Emily helped load up the truck along with other friends and family and Steve took the wheel and drove the beast to our new place in Florida. The trip down was a long one, since we had 5 kids and one of them, being my youngest, was still nursing every 3 hours. It took us 2 days and once we finally got to the road our neighborhood was off of I looked at the trees that had this awful growth coming off of them and said this is where we are moving? Mind you I have never seen spanish moss, and let me tell you its nothing beautiful.....We have now been here for 8 months and it has been a new learning and growing experience for our whole family. There is nothing that will bring you closer together or to God than picking up and moving 720 miles from all you have ever known. It has had its ups and downs but this is a journey I will never regret for the simple fact that I have gotten to know my husband and kids alot more than what I thought I did and it has been great. We are now in 2012 and we will see what great things this year will bring us!
